Nicolya's Work is founded on spirituality, philosophy, and psychotherapy. For more than two decades she has worked in these fields, running her own private practice, writing extensively on these disciplines, and pioneering and developing various new psychotherapeutic/psycho-spiritual methods, models and maps for evolving consciousness. She continues to bring cutting-edge theories to the psychological and spiritual arenas, all of which are inspired by her personal and extensive experience.
Her psychotherapeutic models include “The Five S’s” - 'Self-Awareness, Self-Integration, Self-Realization, Self-Actualization and Self-Transcendence’, and “The Six S’s” - 'self, Self, Higher Self, Soul, Spirit, SOURCE’. Other models focus on the trajectory of collective evolution for global transformation and include the evolutionary maps of the 'Six Core Values for an Evolving World’ and the 'Twelve Foundation Stones for a New Paradigm’.
In 2009, Nicolya wrote the groundbreaking Ego/Self: A Fairytale - a profound, unique and pioneering approach to healing and integrating the ego. The updated version of this can be found in her latest book to be published in 2019. In 2012, she wrote the world's first in-depth account of the ancient oral wisdom teaching of the First Nations People – The Seven Dark, Seven Light and Seven Rainbow Arrows - in a format that re-presents it as a psycho-spiritual (psychological and spiritual) map for evolving consciousness. This can be found in her book 'Contemporary Spirituality for an Evolving World'.
Her prior study and training began with the Work of Carl Jung (in her late teenage years) and went on to include extensive training/studies in humanistic and transpersonal psychotherapy (Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy and Core Process Psychotherapy), Conflict Resolution (Thich Nhat Hanh), Trauma Healing, Non-Violent Communication (Mahatma Gandhi/Thich Nhat Hanh/Marshall Rosenberg), and Focusing (Eugene Gendlin).
Her initiation into philosophy and spirituality also began in her adolescence under the auspices of Mahatma Gandhi, Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov, and Peter Deunov. Otherworldly events that began when she was a child, led to frequent experiences of a spiritual and metaphysical nature in adulthood. These were especially prolific between June 1997 and March 2002, when Nicolya underwent five years of extraordinary out-of-body experiences, which included mystical encounters with extra-dimensional beings and realities, a life-changing experience of conscious dying on Easter Sunday 2002, and a rare and unprecedented experience of Enlightenment on October 13, 2009. Her direct experience of higher-dimensional phenomena continues to this day.
Nicolya's Work is founded upon three fundamental principles: Psychological Integration, Conscious Evolution, and Spiritual Awakening. This trinity of disciplines underpin the core of her Work - Personal Transformation for Global Evolution, Inner-Peace for World Peace, and the Evolution of Psychotherapy, Spirituality, and Humanity, in a New Conscious Paradigm.
